My dog Pi slept UNDER the covers until the heat spiraled on at about 6 Am..then she made her way above feathers to curl up by my knees...When i got up she followed me around purring..i mean barking i mean LOOKING SAD [which was soo invasive that I resorted to FEEDING her...
I got ready to leave for work, and she now followed me around looking SAD again, so i gave her a rolling puzzle toy to distract her when i left.
Seemed to work,but as i closed the door to leave, i spied her in the crack of the doorway...LOOKING SAD AGAIN..
I came home and she grabbed the chew toy and started playing with it..
Until she realized i smelled of 15 new dogs that I handn't smelled of when i left the house....she was not pleased with me, and let me know it by peeing on the bathroom floor {MY FAULT}
This evening she noticed we have a bird...she remembers every several weeks or so...she whined at the bird to "coome cloooser", but the bird is potentially smarter than the dog.
We got out our clicker and trained SPIN, WAVE, FRISBEE CATCHING and some other random stuff..
She ate again...
Pouted in the bedroom, pouted in the Living Room..
Is now pouting in the bedroom...
OH I FORGOT--- I clipped her nails after lunch....not the experiment in terror it used to be several years ago..
I love my pouting angry mexican dog!
She has popcorn paws [they smell like frito chips when she sleeps]
