Can dogs have nuts?

My dog loves nuts, but I'm not sur if she can have them.  Shew's such a picky eater, so it's great that there's a natureal thing she beggs for, but I hate to give them to her unless I know I'm not doing something to hurt her. I have to wrestle acorns out of her mouth.  When we go to the park she can sniff out an acorn.  Often she doesn't even want to play with dogs when we go to the park.  She's to distrected hunting acorns.

The ASPCA's Animal Poison Control Center has a lot of information about people foods and pets.  Perhaps this link will help you out...
