We got a puppy from Pet Express at the end of Dec. for $1000. After only 20 days he had to be put to sleep due to what the doctor said was distemper virus.
The store has been not only defensive about the terrible situation, but also unable to offer any advice aside from "make sure you send in an application for a warranty"
Most likely our pup got sick on the ride up from Missouri with hundreds of other dogs in the back of an 18 wheeler. It's been a painful/expensive experience just getting attached to an animal and having him get sick so quickly. I learned my lesson the hard way, for your own safety do not buy a dog from Pet Express or any other pet store.
