A friend of mine fosters for a local animal shelter.  She is looking for a home for this very sweet 3 year old terrier mix named Susie that she began fostering several months ago.  She isn't very big, only about 35pounds.  Susie was adopted and returned because Susie was making one of the resident cats very stressed.  Susie is house & crate trained, knows basic commands, walks nice on the leash, loves to go on car rides & long walks through the park. She also loves water!!! She had the time of her life running into the waves down at the beach & also taking a dip in the pond at the park. Susie loves dogs both male & female. I would prefer for her to go to a home with a male, but it is possible I would place her with a female if the match was right. Right now she is living with one male & two female's and at times with the girls they all butt heads. So for your sanity & peace I would say she live with a male dog.

Susie loves people and is always happy to say hello to anyone that comes up to her while we are out on our walks.  Susie lived with two boys ages 7 & 9 and the family had nothing but good things to say about her. She was the ambassador dog of the neighborhood. There is an adoption fee of 40.00, payable to PAWS. Susie is up to date on all her shots,  spayed and is ready for her new family.  This dog is really awesome and is doing so great.  When she first was taken into foster care you could see every bone in her body, literally.  She had a horrible ear infection that disappeared as soon as she was given good nutrition and some ear cleanings.  Susie suffered horribly in her early years an we would like to find her a great home.
