Okay, i know one of you out there have some good recipes.  Don't hold out.  I am in a baking mood!

By the way, i do mean treats for my doggie and not me -- although if you do have a good human treat recipe i wouldnt turn it down

Be careful if you decide to bake snacks on your own.  Dogs have big issues with many things and you may create gas, throw-up and poopie that's not so fun to clean up!

We have had great luck with a little (but expensive!) place called Three Dog Bakery.  They are a Dog Bakery and they make amazing, beautiful, and safe treats for doggies.  My dogs love this damn place!

I too would be interested in good recipes for treats that are healthy for my dogs. I can't afford to buy their treats. I have five of them and I'm on disability and not a very good amount so I have to do it myself. LOL I just made a batch that they really like but I don't know if they are that healthy for them. They contained wheat germ, whole wheat flour, yeast, honey, bouillon, egg, for a few of the ingredients. They sounded healthy. The dogs loved them. They are hard and crunchy so I hoped they would help keep their teeth clean. I don't have much luck brushing their teeth. Good luck. Love, Ellen
